We are particularly proud of this aspect of our service and know how important it is to our clients. We appreciate that visiting your loved one can be a traumatic experience and it is likely to be a memory which stays with you for many years. We will do our utmost to make the visit as comforting as possible so that when you leave us you know your loved one is at rest and in the best possible care.
From the moment we carry out the removal you can be assured that we will treat your loved one with the utmost dignity and respect.
If necessary a gentlemen’s grooming will be taken care of and, if you wish, for a lady we will be pleased to apply make-up. If you would like to provide a recent photograph to assist us this is always appreciated, likewise bringing in personal affects, such as glasses can make an important difference to your loved one’s appearance. We are able to provide quality gowns, or if you prefer, you may choose to dress your loved one in their own clothes.
Each of our 11 chapels of rest are totally private and tastefully furnished in a secular peaceful style with 7 being air-conditioned. Because they are private you are welcome to visit as often as you wish, but we do ask that you make an appointment to ensure the privacy of yourself and others. Most of our chapels overlook the beautiful gardens which you are most welcome to use after your chapel visit.
